Activa announces the final closing of a €125 million continuation vehicle to support Arche MC2's next phase of growth
Jul 29, 2026
Activa announces the final closing of a single-asset continuation vehicle dedicated to reinvesting in Arche MC2, the French leader in software solutions for the health, homecare and social care sector. The continuation vehicle secured €125 million in commitments, with LGT Capital Partners serving as lead investor. The investor group also includes Access Capital Partners, AG2R La Mondiale and several existing Limited Partners of Activa who are renewing their support in the firm's strategy.
This transaction builds on the deal announced in January 2026, whereby Montefiore Investment became a shareholder of Arche MC2 under joint control with Activa, which is reinvesting on equal terms through the continuation vehicle. The management team is reinvesting significantly alongside the financial shareholders.
Headquartered in Aix-en-Provence, Arche MC2 is the French leader in software solutions covering the entire value chain of the health and social care sector, serving local authorities, public institutions, home care and nursing providers, and facility operators. Backed by Activa since 2019, the group has grown its revenue sevenfold, driven by an ambitious buy-and-build strategy and the continuous development of market-leading solutions.
The vehicle has been sized to provide Arche MC2 with significant financing capacity to support the development plan led by management: the rollout of new software solutions, accelerated commercial momentum and the active pursuit of its build-up strategy, both in France and internationally. Kroll delivered a fairness opinion confirming the fairness of the financial terms of the transaction.
Guillaume Bouillot and Jean-Michel Monin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Arche MC2: "Arche MC2's story shows what long-term shared ambition between management and financial partners can achieve — results no standalone plan could have predicted. This continuation vehicle is a renewed vote of collective confidence in our trajectory — that of Activa, of leading institutional investors, and of our management and teams, who are reinvesting alongside us. With Montefiore Investment and this new round of backing, we have the resources to match our ambitions for the next stage: accelerating our product development and pursuing further acquisitions, in France and beyond."
Christophe Parier and Alexandre Masson, Managing Partners of Activa: "We are proud of the journey accomplished since 2019 alongside Guillaume Bouillot, Jean-Michel Monin and their teams. The strong interest generated by this continuation vehicle among leading institutional investors is a testament to the quality of Arche MC2's track record and the strength of the reinvestment thesis. We are delighted to welcome LGT Capital Partners and a select group of investors alongside us for this new phase of growth."
Pauline Wetter, Partner at LGT Capital Partners: “We are pleased to partner with Activa on this continuation vehicle. Arche MC2 aligns closely with our strategy of backing resilient, high-quality businesses led by exceptional teams, and we see meaningful potential to support its continued growth in the years ahead.“
Alexandre Bonnécuelle and Eric Schaefer, Partners at Montefiore Investment: "The closing of this transaction marks the launch of a new growth phase for Arche MC2. We are convinced that the quality of its management, the strength of its market positioning, and the outlook of its market offer considerable development potential. Alongside Activa, we will leverage our expertise in supporting service-sector SMEs and mid-caps, as well as our recognized experience in the healthcare and technology sectors, to support Arche MC2's strategy of innovation, external growth and expansion, with the ambition of durably strengthening its leadership position.
